SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling aircraft flight speed based on speed stabilization. To control aircraft flight speed, main control signal supplied to engine thrust drive is used, as well as additional control signal supplied to interceptor sections drive, connection condition of which is determined by a given value of the difference between the current and specified instrument speed, which can be set by the pilot from the control panel or automatically when solving optimization tasks and is selected from the condition of required value of share of interceptors in solution of problem of stabilization and tracking of specified instrument speed together with control of engine thrust in certain way.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities and improved operational characteristics of the aircraft.
