FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building, particularly, to dry bulk materials, for example flax heap. Carousel dryer for flax heap drying contains a frame enclosed by a sealed jacket with a window for heat carrier supply, an annular drying chamber with a perforated bottom installed on the frame on rollers, a loading and unloading device. Perforated bottom rotates on rollers on frame relative to annular drying chamber, in the upper part of the drying chamber there is a drum with conical pins with possibility of rotation and adjustment of the drum position along the drying chamber height; a rotating drum with working plates is installed above the perforated bottom. Unloading device is made in the form of screw installed in drying chamber above perforated bottom, with L-shaped casing, one side of which is located on top of screw, and the other one closes screw from reverse side in direction of rotation of perforated bottom. Screw is connected by electromagnetic toothed coupling with drum with working plates, which are fixed on drum along screw line and in cross section have shape of rectangle.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of flax heap drying process with reduction of power inputs and increased efficiency, increased quality of seeds and reduced cost of seed material.
