FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inspection and testing of short-range and medium-range air defense systems and complexes, including anti-aircraft and anti-aircraft missile systems. Universal target system comprises a vehicle, air targets of different types and a ground control station. At the same time in order to create a complex target environment for attracted combat means, the complex is additionally equipped with ground targets of different types under a single remote control from a ground station with the possibility of displaying a generalized target situation in real time.
EFFECT: providing versatility of complex due to expansion of its use, which consists in the possibility of using both samples of weapons of air defense of ground forces, and cannon armament on ground targets.
