FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: composition of coating particles, preferably a powder coating composition, contains: (i) at least one hardener, (ii) at least one polyester polymer, wherein components (i) and (ii) together form 40 to 99 wt % of coating composition weight; (iii) from 0.1 to 10 wt% of at least one metallic pigment and (iv) from 0.1 to 10 wt% of at least one silane separate from said metallic pigment. Metal in metal pigment contains aluminum.
EFFECT: invention discloses powder coatings with a metal effect, compositions for producing powder coatings containing a metallic pigment, obtaining them and depositing them on a substrate, as well as using silane to prevent corrosion of a metallic pigment.
