FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: for production of cores for steel ropes there used is ready long-length twisted article in form of yarn, string, cord, rope, which is made of mechanically twisted from 10 to 50 torsions per meter of bundle of tapes with width of 10 to 80 mm, which are obtained from mixed textile fabrics wastes or from scrap, wherein materials of which they are made are selected from wastes of mixed textile fabrics or scrap, having surface density of more than 0.9 g/cm3.
EFFECT: production of cores for steel ropes.
