An additional winding 8 is introduced into the controlled shunting reactor, and in the other version an intermediate transformer providing phase shift of harmonics 5, 7 of the main current of windings 1, 2, connected to rectifier 4 so that the specified harmonics will be in antiphase.

EFFECT: reduced noise and losses in the network by attenuation of harmonics 5, 7.
