SUBSTANCE: invention relates to imaging, particularly to a system for synthesis of intermediate types of light field based on a reduced number of types of light field. Disclosed is a method of synthesis of intermediate types of light field based on given input fields of light field, comprising steps of selecting a configuration of given input light field types obtained using at least one light field capturing device, wherein configuration is determined by coordinates of input types of light field matrix captured by capture device, setting required coordinates of intermediate types to be synthesized, delivering selected configuration of preset input fields of light field and required coordinates of intermediate types to be synthesized into neural network, intermediate views are synthesized using a neural network based on disparity of the scene, configuration of given input fields of the light field and required coordinates of intermediate views.

EFFECT: high quality of the image of the scene.
