COMPLEX OF INTERMEDIATE ACCUMULATION AND METERED DELIVERY FOR SORTING OF PACKAGES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B65G47/69 

FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to devices for reception and accumulation of non-rhythmic incoming piece-by-piece arrivals and for delivery of said packages for further processing. Device can be used at postal enterprises in automated lines for processing packages. Task, which is solved by the proposed invention, is to increase the capacity of the complex and to ensure the dispensed delivery of packages for further sorting. Said task is solved by arrangement of a row of gravitational accumulators under each other. Each accumulator is equipped with a chain conveyor with two bars serving for loading and unloading of the accumulator. Accumulator is alternately filled by means of a loading conveyor equipped with passive droppers with an individual drive. After filling the accumulators can be alternately opened for unloading onto the unloading conveyor passing under them. To control the accumulators, the complex of intermediate accumulation and metered delivery of packages for sorting is equipped with an operator panel.

EFFECT: increased capacity of intermediate accumulation system and possibility of performing metered delivery of packages for further sorting; introduction of a complex of intermediate accumulation and metered delivery of packages for sorting into automated processing lines of packages will ensure a higher density of laying, thereby increasing capacity of the complex; complex will also provide automatic metered delivery of packages for sorting.
