SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles. In the method of controlling the agricultural machine working gearbox with the actuator control device, in which basic characteristic curve for transmission control is recorded, which is a relationship between control parameter of actuating element and transmission gear ratio, start characteristic curve when starting working machine to control gearbox. Values of triggered characteristic curve are accepted as preset values. Actual value of control parameter of actuating element and gear ratio is determined. Obtained real magnitudes are compared with the set values of the triggered characteristic curve. Correction value for control parameter of actuating element is generated based on comparison of obtained values. Operating characteristic curve is generated on the basis of the developed values and the operating characteristic curve is recorded in the control device.
