FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for prediction of complications after open reposition and internal fixation (ORIF) of calcaneal bone fracture. Remote polar infrared thermometry is performed to determine a proximal-distal gradient (PDG). That is followed by segmental manometry with determination of ankle-shoulder index (ASI). Transcutaneous oxygen pressure (TpOx) is measured as basal, and at the first orthostatic test (OrtT), its plateau after the first orthostatic test, at the second orthostatic test, difference between basal value and the second orthostatic test, plateau after the second orthostatic test. Further, linear discriminant functions F1 and F2 are calculated, and then the obtained values of the first and second discriminant functions are compared, wherein the function whose value is greater indicates the belonging of the patient to the corresponding group. Linear discriminator functions F1 and F2 are calculated by the following formulas: F1=-99.7797+28.8609*rtr+93.4742*abi-0.1600*toll-1.0444*ponk+1.3016*pall-2.0030*dtrp+1.6116*pfin, F2 = -94.9773 + 29.4140 * rtr + 102.4331 * abi-0.4991 * toll-0.3221 * ponk + 1.4669 * pall-2.2658 * dtrp + 0.4620 * pfin, where F1 is the first classification discriminator function, corresponds to a group of uncomplicated patients after ORIF; F2 - second classification discriminator function, corresponds to a group of patients with complications after ORIF; rtr - WD, °C; abi - ASI, r.d .; toll is oxygen level at first OrtT, mm Hg; ponk - oxygen level plateau after the first OrtT, mm Hg; pall - oxygen level of second OrtT, mm Hg; dtrp is difference of oxygen levels between basal value and second OrtT, mm Hg; pfin - plateau of oxygen level after second OrtT, mm Hg.
EFFECT: method enables accurate prediction of the complications following the calcaneal bone osteosynthesis from the enlarged lateral approach on a background of chronic circulatory disorders of the lower extremities of various aetiology based on calculating PDG, calculating the ASI and conducting TpOx.
