SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a hypohalite liquid bleaching composition. Described is a hypohalite liquid bleaching composition having a pH of at least 7.5, containing at least one copper phthalocyanine pigment, or at least one optical bleach, or mixtures thereof, wherein the copper phthalocyanine pigment is present in amount of 0.0005 to 0.005 wt% of total weight of composition, and optical bleaching agent is present in amount of 0.005 to 0.5 wt% of total weight of composition; at least a system of surfactants selected from a group consisting of: a) at least 0.01 wt% anionic surfactant; b) at least 0.01 wt% cationic surfactant; c) at least 0.5 wt% zwitterionic surfactant; d) at least 0.01 wt% nonionic surfactant; or e) a mixture of at least two of a), b), c) and d); and a stabilizer of formula (I) R₁-O-(R₂CHCH₂O)_s-H (I), where R₁ is a phenyl group or a benzyl group; R₂ denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and s is integer from 1 to 2; buffering component for maintaining pH is selected from a group consisting of carbonate, polycarbonate, sesquicarbonate salts of alkali metals, boron salts, phosphates, stannates, aluminates and mixtures thereof.

EFFECT: development of hypohalite bleaching compositions possessing excellent bleaching ability, which are stable for a long time.
