SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryptography and information security means. Method of authenticated message encryption using block encryption, encryption key K, finalization key F, initialisation vector S, wherein the message includes associated data having at least one non-zero block and possibly open text, the method comprising encrypting the plaintext by calculating counter values, calculating an initial counter value, obtaining each subsequent counter value by adding a module modulus to the right bits of the previous counter value, encrypting the open text in the gamma mode, forming an imitation table, calculating an imitosecurity group value, calculating an imitosecurity key using block encryption and key K, calculating a vector value using a multiplication operation in a Galois final field, calculating an imitosecurity group value using block encryption and a key F, deciphering the ciphertext obtained from the packet in a gamma mode, if the values of imitations have coincided, the decrypted plaintext and associated data are considered to be true.
EFFECT: technical result is high cryptographic strength of the authenticated encryption method.
