FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drive systems for rotation of one or more chassis wheels for aircraft taxiing and/or for spinning before landing. Drive system for chassis gear wheel rotation includes motor for rotation of drive gear and driven gear for installation on wheel. At the same time the drive system has the first configuration, in which the drive gear is capable to engage with the driven gear for rotation of the driven gear motor, and the second configuration, in which the drive gear is not capable to engage with the driven gear. Drive system further comprises a self-locking linear position actuator for moving the drive gear relative to the driven gear. At that, the positioning actuator has the first and second ends, the first end of which is pivotally connected to the axis of the centre support located at a fixed distance from the rotation axis of the driven gear, and the second end is pivotally connected to the axis of the centre support located at a fixed distance from the axis of rotation of the drive gear.
EFFECT: increases reliability during operation.
