SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmacology and medicine. Disclosed is use of a pharmaceutical composition comprising an active pharmacological component -1',3'-dinitroglycerol ether 11(S),15(S)-dihydroxy-9-keto-13E-prostanoic acid (prostonitis), for treating and/or preventing chronic obliterating peripheral vascular diseases and a method of treating said diseases using said method.
EFFECT: technical result: prostonitis in the form of a solution improves microcirculation of tissue on the background of its ischemia and significantly reduces the area of necrotized tissue in rats on the model of critical peripheral tissue ischemia.
