SUBSTANCE: invention relates to intelligent houses, in particular to a method and apparatus for adjusting the angle of shooting a camera. Method includes: determining the human body position within the camera shooting range; adjusting the angle of shooting the camera depending on the position of the human body so that the image of the human body is located in the center of the video image captured by the camera; determining the position of the human face in the video image captured by the camera; and accurate adjustment of the angle of camera shooting, depending on the position of the person's face, so that the image of the person's face is located in the center of the video image captured by the camera.

EFFECT: by determining the human body position in the camera shooting range, adjusting the camera shooting angle so that the camera is oriented towards the human body position, and with subsequent fine adjustment of camera depending on position of human face, present invention provides technical result, consisting in providing automatic accurate camera angle adjustment depending on the human face position, without the users having to manually adjust the camera shooting angle, thereby reducing the complexity of user operations and improving the shooting angle adjustment accuracy.
