FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for development of trenches on the seabed when laying subsea pipelines. Working body of an underwater pipe-loader consists of two rotor wheels mirrored to each other, installed with the possibility of forced and synchronous rotation. Rotary wheels are equipped around the perimeter with soil-developing buckets and installed in guide frames with side conveyors made in the form of trays with a slope down and to the sides. Guide frames are interconnected by a horizontal hinge with the possibility of changing the mutual inclination of the rotor wheels to each other.
EFFECT: invention is a simple, reliable and high-performance working body of an underwater pipe-loader for construction and repair of offshore pipelines, while having the lowest energy intensity of the soil development process.
