FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vehicle illumination systems. Vehicle lighting system comprises substrate and first and second lighting sources. Substrate is assembled in stepped configuration and has alternating first and second sections. Each of the light sources is configured to emit light towards the substrate. Each of the first and second sections is configured to photoluminesce in response to excitation by light emitted from one of the first and second light sources.
EFFECT: higher illumination capabilities of lighting system.
