FIELD: motor industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an anti-theft device mounted on the steering column of a car and blocking the rotation of the steering shaft. Code lock comprises a housing in which a code lock device is installed consisting of code number rings freely rotatably mounted on the cylinder. Code number rings have axial internal code notches, from which, when typing the lock code, a common longitudinal groove is formed that coincides with the longitudinal recess of the cylinder, in which the free end of the main lever, acting on the spring-loaded pin, is blocked in the vertical plane by which the rotation of the steering shaft is blocked/unlocked. Free end of the main lever is fixed at the upper and lower travel points by a spring-loaded plug, which, in turn, is blocked by a technological chain from the spring-loaded biconic tip, spring-loaded upper and lower bars, a bolt. Code lock allows you to block the rotation of code number rings when opening the code lock, which does not allow you to immediately dial the next variant of the code combination when dialing the lock code is incorrect. It will be necessary to perform an operation to unlock the code number rings, including repeated pressing of the spring-loaded pusher with a rigid spring.
EFFECT: provides increased reliability by increasing the time interval between the set of code, checking for correctness and typing the next code, that very tightens the selection of the lock code when unauthorized attempt to open the combination lock.
