FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmission of bottom-hole information from well to surface via electromagnetic communication channel and can be used for monitoring process of well operation. Disclosed is a device for transmitting information over an electromagnetic communication channel during operation of a well from a lowered metal pipe string to form an annular channel between them and an inner metal string of the well pump rods, comprising a ground generator, connected by its contacts to the upper part of the pipe string and the rods, a dielectric insert dividing the string in the well into upper and lower parts, a switch for opening and closing contacts of the upper and lower parts of the metal column, a synchronization unit which determines the period and cycle time of transfer of information depending on the operation mode of the installation of the sucker-rod pump. Dielectric insert is placed in the string of the rods of the well pump, and the synchronization unit is connected to ends of the dielectric insert.
EFFECT: high reliability of transmitting information from the bottom-hole and wider field of use thereof.
