FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to rotary extrusion/rolling-out of billet. Forming machine comprises bed, spindle head, main spindle installed with possibility of rotation in spindle head with rolling mandrel. There is also a support carrying at least one processing tool and made with possibility of axial movement relative to the main spindle in the longitudinal direction of the bedplate. Besides, main spindle drive is provided to bring main spindle into rotary motion and feed drive to move the support. Drive of the main spindle has at least two drive motors, each with a corresponding drive gear wheel. Main spindle has a driving gear wheel made capable to be actuated by drive gear wheels of drive motors.
EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities of the method and increasing accuracy of rolled workpieces.
