FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: method of controlling flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle, which is equipped with an asymmetric body with a nose radiotranspar fairing, upper and lower parts of the surface of which form its width, wherein the upper part is made convex, and lower part of flattened, payload, propulsion system and flight control system, comprising steering elements and homing head with active phased antenna array fixed under nose radiotransparent fairing with location of its emitting surface parallel to transverse axis of housing and inclination to its longitudinal axis, based on introduction of coordinates of flight trajectory in flight control system and control of steering elements in flight to provide flight trajectory. Before the flight path end section execution, the control system is rotated by 180° and its flight position is controlled in the final flight path section in the roll-turned position so that the homing head scans the earth surface.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving accuracy of UAV trajectory in final section.
