SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment and can be used in development and production of special artillery reconnaissance ammunition. Method of projectile trajectory designation consists in fact that on falling section of trajectory of cassette shell by means of crushing charge installed in projectile head part, through bottom part of projectile are ejected cartridges. Using the same blow-off charge, an incendiary charge installed ahead of the blow-off charge in relation to the projectile head part is ignited. Due to flow of luminous particles of combustion of incendiary charge substance, emitted from bottom part of projectile body under action of pressure in head part of projectile body, which occurs when combustion of igniting charge substance, creating luminous trace along trajectory of projectile body drop.

EFFECT: method increases accuracy when recording image of projectile moving body.
