FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer-based leads for extruded paper pencils. Non-foamed extruded pencil lead contains, wt. %: 40–60 graphite, 15–40 polyolefin, 5–15 colorless mineral filler, 5–20 technical carbon coated or mixed with polyolefin wax or polyolefin, from 0 up to 16 additives. Content of technical carbon in said coated or mixed industrial carbon ranges from 25 to 65 wt. % with respect to its weight. Pencil for paper containing said lead is also described.
EFFECT: invention provides improved efficiency of wiping paper on paper and strength of lead to bend with maintenance of conditions of use and grinding without breakage.
