FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in production of shell parts from sheet blanks by deep drawing. Sheet shaped workpiece is used, which has constant thickness in the central part, which decreases to the edge of the butt to a thickness exceeding its design thickness determined from the condition of natural flange thickening in the process of reduction of its diameter. Gap is set between male die and female die equal to thickness of workpiece central part. Extraction of workpiece is performed with clamp.
EFFECT: elimination of part thickness variation due to unloading of force transmission zone in its bottom part.
