SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pump having housing (2) with axial connector, which comprises lower part (21) and cover (22), having rotary shaft (3) in axial direction (A), and at least one side cover (9) for closing housing (2) in axial direction. Cover (9) has first contact surface (91) for interaction with second contact surface (23) provided on housing (2). Surface (23) passes over lower part (21) and cover (22), wherein bottom part (21) has first sealing surface (212), and cover (22) is second sealing surface (222). Lower part (21) and cover (22) can be attached to each other by a method, where two surfaces (212, 222) come into direct contact with each other, wherein at least one seal groove (213) is provided in one of surfaces (212, 222) for receiving sealing element (10) in the form of a cord. Seal slot (213) extends to housing surface (23), and recess (24) surrounding shaft (3) is provided in surface (23). Ledge (92) surrounding shaft (23) is provided in surface (91) of side cover (9), at that, recess (24) and ledge (92) are made and arranged so that they together form ring-shaped groove (29) for receiving annular sealing element (11) with installed cover (9).

EFFECT: invention is aimed at creation of reliable and high pressure seal between housing and side cover.
