FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of obtaining images for engineering and computer graphics and to CAD systems. Imaged object with local coordinate axes is placed in the center of the hollow cube concentrically with three hollow identical rectangular parallelepipeds. Object with coordinate axes is projected along directions of diagonals of the cube and diagonals of three rectangular parallelepipeds on the perpendicular to them located axonometric planes of projections, with formation of surfaces of 4 octahedrons. Octahedrons are cut along the ribs and their faces are aligned with the main plane. Obtained on faces 4 × 8 = 32 axonometric views are arranged on 3 pairs of communication lines intersecting at the origin, inclined to horizontal coordinate axis at corresponding angles. Set of axonometric views in CAD systems is obtained by preliminary copying of the main type of 3D object model and subsequent conversion of its copies into axonometric views or using, for example, in KOMPAS-3D, pattern-pattern of axonometric planes electronic tool, which is 3D model of axonometric and main planes of projections in form of 38-faces, and performing the following operations: a) normally to…, after selecting its axonometric face, or b) conjugation-parallelism, - conjugating its axonometric faces with facets of object model; or in AutoCAD is obtained by 3D rotation of object model together with projection vectors in diagonal planes of cube and three rectangular parallelepipeds, to their projecting positions relative to main plane of projections of graphic screen.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling transformation of images of main types of object or its 3D-model into sets of rectangular axonometric views.
