FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of chemical agents for inhibiting corrosion and scale formation in reverse cooling systems of power plants. Described is corrosion inhibitor and scale formation for use in systems of reverse cooling of power plants or industrial enterprises, which is a reagent based on phosphorus-containing organic compounds, polymers and triazoles, characterized by that it contains the following components, wt%: sodium tripolyphosphate and/or sodium hexametaphosphate: 1–5; 1-hydroxyethyl diphosphonic acid: 20–35; prop-2-enoic acid polymer with 2-hydroxypropyl-prop-2-enoate and prop-2-enoate and/or sodium acrylate and acrylamide copolymer: 10–30; 1,2,4-triazole and/or 1,2,3-benzotriazole and/or tolyl triazole: 0.5–2; balance up to 100 % water.
EFFECT: high reliability of protection against corrosion and scale formation of process equipment.
