FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of purifying a vapor-gas mixture from low-boiling fluid vapors involves using an apparatus comprising a condensation unit, vapor condensation by reacting a vapor-gas mixture with a cooled low-boiling liquid in a condensation unit. According to the disclosed solution for interaction of the vapor-gas mixture with the cooled low-boiling liquid in the condensation unit, a dynamic foam layer is created by directing the flow from the vapor-gas mixture and the cooled low-boiling liquid through tangential slots formed by tangentially arranged blades of condensation unit. Steam-gas mixture and the cooled low-boiling liquid are fed into the condensation unit in the upper part of the condensation unit while the low-boiling liquid supplied to the condensation unit is cooled to temperature in the range from minus 100 °C to minus 15 °C. Plant for purification of vapor-gas mixture from low-boiling fluid vapors includes condensation unit, low-boiling liquid collection vessel connected to condensation unit, cooling unit containing heat exchanger and refrigerating unit, pump for supply of low-boiling liquid to condensation unit. In the proposed plant, the condensation unit comprises a shell with tangential slots in the walls formed by the blades arranged at an angle to the shell circumference, the upper part of the shell is closed by the upper disc, and its lower part is fixed on lower disc, which contains central hole, diameter of which is less than diameter of shell. Condensation unit can be made in form of vertically oriented housing. Diameter of the shell diameter of the upper disc closing the upper part of the shell is equal. Condensation unit comprises branch pipes for supply of vapor-gas mixture and low-boiling liquid in its upper part and branch pipes for discharge of liquid and gas in its lower part.
EFFECT: disclosed method of cleaning vapor-gas mixture from low-boiling fluid vapors.
