FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a device for connecting shafts of a ground-based pumping unit bearing an axial load. Horizontal pump unit contains a connected suction chamber containing a short shaft, a bearing chamber containing a shaft transmitting torque to the short shaft, and a connecting coupling connecting the shaft of the bearing chamber with the short shaft. Connecting coupling comprises thrust hub, which is connected to short shaft and to shaft of bearing chamber, and clamping fitting, which is connected to thrust hub. Shaft of bearing chamber comprises hub section on which thrust hub is installed, and collar, in which it rests to transmit axial force through coupling to shaft of bearing chamber.
EFFECT: inventions are aimed at improvement of connection of shafts of the pump unit.
