SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automated information system for supporting decision-making on formation of investment portfolios based on searching and analyzing an effective plurality of solutions. System includes: user computer; server, which receives from user computer data on portfolio purpose, on parameters of portfolio and total amount of investments, determines a plurality of separate investment objects, transmits to the user computer the investment objects defined for inclusion into the portfolio and the investment amount; data storage memory, communication links, decision support system operator computer, equipped with interconnection interfaces with decision support server and with system users and providing: configuring decision support server parameters and monitoring its operation state; dynamic connection/disconnection of users and monitoring of execution of their requests to search for an effective set of portfolios of investment objects, exchange of information of the operator of decision support system with users.

EFFECT: high efficiency of the decision support system for formation of investment portfolios.
