SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multilayer fibrous article comprising at least two fibrous layers, which is preferably selected from (a) a multilayer article of non-woven material, comprising at least two layers of nonwoven material, wherein layers preferably contain cellulose fibers, (b) article from sanitary-hygienic paper containing at least two layers of sanitary-hygienic paper, and (c) a hybrid thereof, comprising at least one layer of sanitary-hygienic paper and at least one layer of nonwoven material, preferably containing cellulose fibers, wherein said at least two layers are bonded to each other by an aqueous adhesive composition comprising an adhesive component and a dermatologically acceptable acid and optionally a salt thereof, wherein said acid and possibly its salt are provided in such an amount that the pH value of the multilayer fibrous article, measured according to ISO standard 6588-1:2012(E), ranges from 4.0 to 6.4, preferably from 4.3 to 6.4, more preferably 4.5 to 6.2, even more preferably from 4.8 to 6.0.
