FIELD: optics; instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of optical instrument-making, in particular, to the photodetector signal processing means. Device for amplification and preliminary processing of pulses from an infrared photodiode has an infrared photodiode connected to a signal processing unit. Processing unit comprises two operational amplifiers (OA) with resistors in negative feedback circuit, high-pass filter (HPF), switchboard connected to electric control circuit. Schematic diagram of the device is presented in fig. 1. IR photodiode is connected to input of first OA through additional first resistor, with value Rs, selected from the condition Rs > Rfb V0/Vlim, where Rfb – value of negative feedback resistor of first OA; V0 is the infrared photodiode idle voltage; Vlim is the maximum unlimited voltage at the output of the first OA. In addition, nonlinear circuit connected with second OA output is introduced. Nonlinear circuit can be made in the form of a transistor, as well as on a comparator and an analogue key. Device for amplification and preliminary processing of pulses from an infrared photodiode can contain n infrared photodiodes connected to n signal processing units.

EFFECT: technical result is broader functional capabilities of the device, specifically possibility of processing signals from infrared photodiodes in a wide dynamic range of input signals, while reducing the area of suppression of large signals of small signals.
