SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of making ignition plug (1) for internal combustion engine, in particular, internal combustion engine of motor vehicle. Ignition plug (1) comprises main body (2) with head area (8) made with possibility of being installed in combustion chamber of internal combustion engine. Furthermore, the coating formed by at least the following steps is located at least partially in head area (8): head region (8) is made at least partially rough, a suspension is applied on rough area (8) of the head, the applied suspension is dried, the suspension applied on the made rough area (8) of the head is heated to form enamel coating (10).

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of exhaust gases, which are formed during operation of internal combustion engine.
