FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to devices used for diagnostics of electric machines with permanent magnets in synchronous machines. Essence: additional three-phase winding is installed in electric machine, coils of each phase of which are located relative to each other on 120°. Electromotive force induced in the additional winding during rotation of the rotor is measured; the measured shape of the electromotive force curve and its harmonic composition are used to determine the condition of the rotor with permanent magnets. If the electromotive force curve is distorted relative to the abscissa, the rotor with permanent magnets is faulty.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of diagnostics of double-pole rotors with permanent magnets.
