FIELD: astronautics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling an autonomous power supply system of a spacecraft. For this purpose, voltage stabilizer and charge-discharge devices are controlled depending on input and output voltage of system at control of degree of charging and discharging of storage batteries in unit, prohibiting operation of the corresponding charging device when the limit level of charge of said storage battery is reached, releasing prohibition when certain level of discharge of said accumulator battery is reached, prohibiting operation of the corresponding discharge device when the limit level of the discharge of said storage battery is reached, removing said prohibition upon reaching certain level of charge of said accumulator battery, monitoring the solar battery current, removing the voltage converter operation blocking after the solar battery current exceeding the preset value, at emergency discharge of storage batteries, depending on value of their residual capacity, emergency economical discharge mode of accumulator batteries is switched on and, if necessary, include a unit for autonomous control of the solar battery drive to obtain maximum solar exposure from the sun, and in case of failure of the emergency mode, operation of all discharge devices is blocked.

EFFECT: higher reliability and survivability of power supply system of spacecraft.
