FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of metals in oil industry and can be used in inhibiting growth of sulphate-reducing bacteria and inhibiting microbiological corrosion in container equipment of oil collection and treatment systems. In the method of anti-corrosion protection caused by sulphate-reducing bacteria – SRB, which includes determination of bactericidal concentration sufficient for inhibition of vital activity of the adsorbed and plankton forms of SRB, pumping bactericide into a container with process liquid, process liquid used is process liquids of oil collection, transportation and processing systems, depending on tank filling time, weight of bactericidal is determined, sufficient for suppressing of SRB taking into account concentration of bactericide, determined for period required for maximum volume of filling of container with process liquid equal to 70–80 % of capacity of container, before pumping of bactericide when the process liquid reaches level of 60–70 % of the volume of the container, the process liquid in the vessel is stirred for 20–30 minutes so that bottom sediment is lifted and uniformly distributed in the volume of the process liquid, Then, the mixed process liquid is pumped out from the tank to level of 50–60 cm from the bottom of the container with partial discharge of the bottom sediment, then the bactericide is injected with simultaneous filling of the container with the process liquid, then the technological process is continued in the normal mode.

EFFECT: high efficiency of controlling microbiological corrosion of capacitance equipment, shorter duration and easier processing.
