SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to sugar beet seed production. Method includes preparation of soil with application of fertilizers for main treatment, thickened sowing and foliar top dressing with complex fertilizers containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, manganese, boron, zinc, copper and molybdenum. Micronutrients iron, manganese, zinc and copper are presented in a chelate form. First additional fertilizer in the phase of plant development in plants is 2-3 pairs of true leaves at the following ratio of components (wt%): total nitrogen – 18.0–22.0; phosphorus (in terms of P2O5) – 8.0–12.0; potassium (in terms of K2O) – 8.0–12.0; magnesium (in terms of MgO) – 1.5–2.5; sulfur – 1.0–2.0; iron – 0.8–1.2; manganese – 0.6–0.8; boron – 0.4–0.6; zinc – 0.4–0.6; copper – 0.2–0.3; molybdenum – 0.1–0.2. Second fertilizing after formation of 5 pairs of real leaves and root moulting termination – with ratio of components (wt%): total nitrogen – 8.0–12.0; phosphorus (in terms of P2O5) – 13.0–17.0; potassium (in terms of K2O) – 13.0–17.0; magnesium (in terms of MgO) – 1.5–2.5; sulfur – 1.0–2.0; iron – 0.8–1.2; manganese – 0.6–0.8; boron – 0.4–0.6; zinc – 0.4–0.6; copper – 0.2–0.3; molybdenum – 0.1–0.2. Third – three to four weeks prior to harvesting with ratio of components (wt%): total nitrogen – 4.0–6.0; phosphorus (in terms of P2O5) – 13.0–17.0; potassium (in terms of K2O) – 23.0–27.0; magnesium (in terms of MgO) – 1.5–2.5; sulfur – 1.0–2.0; iron – 0.8–1.2; manganese – 0.6–0.8; boron – 0.4–0.6; zinc – 0.4–0.6; copper – 0.2–0.3; molybdenum – 0.1–0.2.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce thinnest concentration of thickened sugar beet crops, to increase the yield of root crops, to obtain healthy and viable planting material.
