FIELD: computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical protection of information in various fields of activity. Device comprises an electromagnetic signal detector connected to a system unit of a computer equipment and a software system operating under control of an operating system of a computer equipment. When detecting electromagnetic signal of radio signal of mobile communication device or stowing device, which violated controlled zone of information object and exceeding preset threshold level of radio signal, electromagnetic signal detector transmits a control signal to computer equipment facility of information technology object, which is recognized by software system, and in accordance with settings, switches operation of operating system to "sleep" or "off" mode, terminating operation of computing equipment facility of information object.

EFFECT: technical result is prevention of leakage of protected information via channels of secondary electromagnetic radiations and noise generated by computer equipment of information technology object via mobile communication means and stowing devices.
