SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for facilitating an electronic game process, wherein the device comprises a flatbed scanning device. Flatbed scanning device comprises a scanning surface, wherein the scanning surface is configured to throw die or dice on it, wherein the flatbed scanning device is configured to instantly scan the image on the scanning surface. Device also comprises a processor configured to receive scanning information relating to an image on a scanning surface, on which a die or dice is dropped, and programmed to extract from said image data relating to abandoned dice.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device for recognizing dice and a method of recognizing dice.
