FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Method of checking an electronic digital signature of a file under attack conditions on a user's computing device comprises detecting, using a security device, an attack on a user's computing device, which is carried out with respect to system EDS verification means; detecting a file, the category of which is unknown, using a verification means for determining an EDS file and an EDS certificate; recognition by means of the EDS certificate checking means of the detected file is valid, if the EDS certificate is complete and the certificate of the certifying center which issued the EDS certificate is also valid, wherein validation of the EDS certificate is carried out using certificates from a certificate database, which stores certificates for at least two operating systems; recognition by means of the EDS checking means of the detected file is valid, if the EDS certificate is valid, and the file is complete.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the EDS check of the file carried out when an attack is detected with respect to the EDS verification means.
