FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used, in particular, for control of converter on electric rolling stock of alternating current. Device for formation of minimum control angles comprises measuring voltage transformer, source of threshold voltage, unit of synchronizing pulses, channel for monitoring instantaneous value of voltage on thyristor arms, shaper of shortened synchronizing pulses, RS-trigger, inverter, univibrator, first and second logic elements NAND, logic element AND, clock pulse generator, reverse counter and logic element OR. Measuring voltage transformer and threshold voltage source are connected to first and second inputs of instantaneous voltage tracking channel on thyristor arms, respectively, synchronizing pulses unit is connected to input of shorter synchronizing pulses shaper, shortened synchronizing pulses shaper output is connected to input of RS flip-flop and connected to first input of logic element AND through univibrator, output of tracking channel for instantaneous value of voltage on thyristor arms is connected to second input of logic element AND, output of which is connected to first input of first logic element NAND and through inverter is connected to first input of second logical element NAND, second inputs of the first and second NAND gates are connected to the output of the clock pulse generator, outputs of the first and second NAND gates are connected to the Up and Down inputs of the reverse counter, respectively, which output is connected through logic element OR to input of RS flip-flop, which output is output of device for formation of minimum control angles.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of power factor due to application of new method of formation of minimum control angles, not depending on distortion of voltage shape.
