SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the small arms. Back plate of small arms butt is made as separate part and is attached to upper part of butt in heel area by means of cylindrical hinged joint, its lower part in area of stock tip is movable in longitudinal direction and fixed in rear position by spring or resilient material, or spring and resilient material together. In another version, the bottom part of the back plate is connected to the lower rod of the butt, at that, the lower rod of the butt is made movable in the longitudinal direction.
EFFECT: considerable reduction of vertical displacement of the arms barrel in the upward direction with automatic fire, higher accuracy of firing.
