FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building and can be used in production of friction pads of disc brakes of vehicles. At braking to the rotating disk the power hydraulic cylinder located in the floating bracket the friction pad of the disc brake pad is pressed, in which grooves are made for withdrawal of wear products from annular surface of friction of the pad and brake disk. Due to structural design of friction pad shoe with grooves, which are made with angle of inclination to continuation of radius passing through rotation axis of brake disc, removal of wear products from friction surfaces on periphery, with their further removal from surface of rotating brake disc, and thereby increasing stability, serviceability and durability of disc brake.
EFFECT: invention increases stability, efficiency, durability and serviceability of disc brake pad by making groove or grooves friction pads with inclination of 45° to continuation of radius passing through brake disk axis of rotation.
