FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Motor vehicle with body structure comprises roof frame formed by front and rear cross bars. Cross bars are connected to each other by means of lengthwise bars. Motor vehicle also includes structural roof containing power frame, which is connected to roof frame. Roof frame distinguishes upper part of vehicle and light-transmitting panel, which is attached to power frame installed on vehicle body. Power frame comprises front part connected with rear part by means of longitudinal beams. Method of mounting structural roof on vehicle body structure includes steps of prefabrication of body structure for forming roof frame. Power frame is made. Power frame is mounted on roof frame. Light-transmitting panel is mounted on power frame by means of gluing.
EFFECT: higher strength of vehicle body.
