FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging and can be used in radar systems mounted on mobile carriers. Said result is achieved by the fact that the system includes sensor units which detect the change in the carrier angular orientation in space, and computing means using said information to increase guidance accuracy. Presence of measuring devices of angular orientation of the carrier makes it possible to establish one-to-one rules of transition between the fixed system of coordinates stabilized relative to direction to the north and the plane of the horizon, to which coordinates of the tracked targets and missiles are tied, and measurement, in which their primary coordinates are selected. Application of two separate units of sensors determining the orientation of the carrier and the locator installed on it enables to obtain information on hobbles with high degree of accuracy provided by the first unit and high time resolution provided by the second unit.
EFFECT: high-precision multi-channel tracking of targets and missiles during system operation in motion.
