FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine air straightening assembly comprises a structural post and a straightening vane located on the side of the trough of the structural post and comprising a leading edge, a trailing edge and a middle line extending between the leading edge and the trailing edge. Blade and post are located radially around axis of gas turbine engine and form an air passage between them. Structural post comprises inlet end relative to direction of passage of air in channel, having profile of straightening blade and containing front edge aligned with leading edge of blade, and ledge, which is in trough rack and forming in channel throat, at inlet of which channel converges and at outlet of which the channel diverges. Sectional area of the channel at throat level makes from 0.7 to 0.9 of the cross-section area of the channel at the level of front edges of the blade and post. Another invention of the group relates to a gas turbine engine comprising the above airflow straightening assembly.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to exclude appearance of shock wave and detachment of boundary layer of air flow in channel between structural strut and straightening blade.
