SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an oral care cavity composition and use thereof. Disclosed oral care solution composition contains an antibacterial agent bis-biguanide, wherein said agent is chlorhexidine or its salt and is present in the composition in amount of 0.0049 wt. %, a physiologically acceptable bivalent metal ion which is Zn and present in the composition in amount of 0.049 wt. %, and chitosan or chitosan derivative in amount of 0.1 wt. %. Disclosed is use of said composition for preventing and/or treating halitosis, for preventing and/or treating bad breath, and also for preventing and/or treating pain in throat.

EFFECT: combining said antibacterial agent in an amount which is insufficient to provide an antibacterial effect, a physiologically acceptable divalent metal ion Zn in a very low concentration and a physiologically acceptable chitosan polymer provides the ability of the composition to reduce the formation of sulphur gases in the oral cavity and prevention and/or treatment of halitosis, bad breath, as well as sore throat with minimal inhibiting effect on normal oral microflora.
