SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural mechanisms, in particular to devices for sowing non-loose and non-free-running seeds. Agitator for the grass seeder with non-loose and non-free-running seeds includes a working member for turning the seeds with an elasto-inertial mechanism with ratchet wheel 4 mounted on the cover of hopper 8 of the sowing machine. Working element for seeds turning is made in form of spiral auger 9 fixed on shaft 3 of elastic-inertia mechanism, providing possibility of spiral auger rotation 9 for seeds lifting along coils of auger spiral 9 without impact, with destruction of arch, without damaging seeds and providing continuous supply of seeds in sowing zone.

EFFECT: use of invention prevents formation of arch and provides continuous supply of non-loose and non-free-running seeds into sowing zone, with reduced probability of damage of seeds from mechanical action of agitator.
