DEVICE FOR LEVELING ENDS OF PACK OF ROUND TIMBER Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B65G69/00 B65G57/18 

FIELD: packaging, transportation and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to loading and unloading operations and can be used for alignment of ends of packs (bundles) of round timber, which are shipped from enterprises of timber industry complex, as well as at formation of timber cargoes for loading on automobile, railway and water transport. Device for levelling ends of packs of round timber comprises frame, on which posts are vertically installed. On one side along edge there is attached end shield equipped with vibrator. Proposed device comprises frame whereat frame is mounted by means of hinged supports with possibility of installation into vertical position. On posts, the number of which is equal to four, chains for fixation of a pack of timber are fixed. Along edge of frame on other side is rigidly fixed eye for hook suspension of crane, and along edges of bed there installed are compensating supports in form of compression springs.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the production of the face straightening machine, to reduce power consumption of crane equipment, to intensify the process of timber bundles rounding, due to which increase labour efficiency.
