FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in makeups of symmetric communication cables within a shared network or structured cable systems. Symmetrical four-pair cable with film-nanotubular and microtubular perforated insulation of conductors in which insulation of each core is made in the form of nanotubes of equal size throughout the entire section of each conductor, successively after each nanotube there is a perforated microtubule along the entire cross-section of the core along the entire length of the symmetrical cable, and the outer film of the core insulation touches the perforated microtubular insulation of each core throughout the entire cross-section of each core along the entire length of the symmetrical cable.
EFFECT: invention reduces relative permittivity of insulation of cable cores, reduces capacitance of pairs and, consequently, dielectric losses and capacitive component of influence between pairs without reducing outer diameter of each pair.
